Think Secret has learnt that Apple is developing a new version of its backup software included with the .Mac package.
In the third version of the software codenamed 'Predator' users will be able to create customisable plans for each backup destination, also featured is incremental backups
Other features included will be Spotlight integration, updated file types supported by Quickpicks and a history panel providing users with detailed information of each backup done.
It is unknown whether a Beta will be publicly tested but the product is expected for release in August of 2005.
