Think Secret has posted a report that includes details on Backup 3 and the upcoming .Mac Widgets.
According to the report Backup 3 will offer four pre-set backup options, backup home drive daily to a hard drive, and then monthly to CD or DVD media. The second pre-set option backs up your personal information and settings to your iDisk on a daily basis, the third option backs up iLife data to CD or DVD weekly and finally the forth option backs up Purchased music to CD or DVD (good move Apple). Users of Backup 3 will also have the ability to create custom backup schedules to suit their needs.
The rumoured .Mac Widgets will supposedly allow you to access Mail, Backup and many more applications from the Dashboard.
