Apple has recently said that it has entered into a purchase agreement with Freescale, the current maker of the PowerPC G4 processor. The deal will guarantee a supply of processors through the end of 2008.
This throws an interesting spanner in the works for the Intel Switch, it seems Apple may have a multi processor platform in mind.
