ThinkSecret has reported that Apple could be upgrading the PowerMac G5 line in the very near future.
The line of PowerMacs last saw an update in April 2005 and was a bump of a mere 200Mhz.
According to the report the new line of PowerMacs would include the 970MP Dual Core PPC processor, it has been long rumoured that the 970MP would be used in future PowerMacs.
It is quite possible that this could happen with the next few weeks as Apple really need to tide over there line before the Intel Switch.
