Apple has posted iPod Updater 2005-10-12. The update includes iPod Software 1.0 for Apple's new video-enabled fifth-generation iPod, but does not bring any new features to current iPods. According to the brief release notes, iPod Updater 2005-10-12 "contains the same software versions as iPod Updater 2005-09-23 for all other iPod models."
