Yesterday I popped into the Regent Street as I happened to be in the area, while I was there I noticed a small notice up by the theatre, I unfortunately did not get a good snap of it but it made me think.
The sign read something along the lines of "We're sorry for the inconvenience during our renovations and improvements to the Apple Store."
The sign immediately made me think of the recent rumouring that the London Store is being expanded in size, maybe that is what it's for but nothing appeared to be happening.

On another less positive note the Store had no MacBook Pro's on display which is shocking for the Flagship Store, also the Stores sections "home, pro, music etc." were completely jumbled up, iMac's in the 'pro' section and iPod's in the 'home' section.
ifoAppleStore has pointed out that the SoHo store is also going through some renovations, possibly expanding the size of the theatre?
