The Inquirer claims that it expects Intel's Core Duo processors to drop in price around the 28th of May.
The 2.16GHz Core Duo which is a build to order chip on the MacBook Pro is expected to drop in price by $214 per chip. The 1.83GHz and 1.66Ghz chips are expected to drop by $129 and $54 respectively.
It is unknown whether the price drop will directly affect the price of Intel Macs.
