With today's release of the Black MacBook notebook which is already being dubbed the BlackBook, Apple has made some design changes to the machines.
The new MacBook features a completely magnetic latching system as well as featuring MagSafe, the keyboard has been redesigned and has a much cleaner and flush finish although concerns over the ergonomics of the keys have arisen.

Unlike the MacBook Pro the MacBook only comes with a glossy screen and does not offer the matte finish as an option, time will tell on how the new glossy displays improve the viewing experience.
Almost all Apple Retail Stores have stock of the new MacBook with more Black in stock than White, while most online stores are listing 1-5 days for the White MacBook and 3 to 7 days for the Black.
AppleInsider has posted some images of the new Black MacBook and Roger has posted some unpacking images on Flickr.
[Update] According to a report by AppleInsider the hard disk drive in the new MacBook is able to be swapped out by the user. The drive is said to be as easy to change as RAM modules.
[Update 2] Over the last 24 hours the wealth of information available about the new Intel based MacBook has grown immensely, more galleries available here and here, someone has even stripped one down for us all to see.
