AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is feverishly developing a replacement for the aged eMac. The new Mac is expected within the September 2006 timeframe which could cause poor sales for this year as education establishments finish up the purchasing of new systems.
The upcoming replacement is said to have a design similar to that of the iMac, simple single unit, LCD, and an Intel chip, cost will have to be kept down to compete in the pressures of the education market.
