AppleInsider and Macrumors are simultaneously reporting that rumours point towards Apple releasing a Bluetooth iPod adapter.
The device which was claimed to be in existence by Michael Broadhurst of Pioneer will allow music to be streamed to other Bluetooth equipped audio equipment.
In particular relation Pioneer recently released its DEH car sound system which allows communications with Bluetooth devices, at the moment it's aimed at communications with mobile telephones, but a Pioneer spokesman went on to say that the DEH requires a separate adapter to interface with the iPod but Apple will be introducing a Bluetooth adapter of its own.
This particular rumour has been in existence for several years but has failed to come to fruition.
