iSights Shipping Again
Apple Store customers are reporting that orders of iSights that have been on hold since September have begun shipping in the US.
Shipments of iSights were halted around the beginning of September, the same time that the camera was removed from European markets due to non-compliance with an environmental directive.
Of note the iSights that have begun shipping this week hold the same part number (M8817LL/C) as the previously available iSight.
Causing further confusion, it had been confirmed that Apple had issued a worldwide end-of-life notice on the camera.
Core 2 Duo MacBooks Tomorrow?
A few reports are floating around that Apple may update the MacBook with Core 2 tomorrow.
Many customers are reporting delays in having repairs returned and it has been known for a few weeks that stocks of MacBooks appear to be running low.
The US Apple Store continues to display 24-hour shipping times but some European stores have slipped to 3-days.
It has been long rumoured that the MacBook would be updated before the holiday season.
