According to Proximity Corporations website, Apple has acquired the company's technology and intellectual property.
We are pleased to announce that all Proximity technology and intellectual property, including artbox workgroup and artbox enterprise, was recently acquired by Apple.
Proximity is a UK based company which makes leading video asset management software by the name of Artbox, during its debut in 2004 the software was described as "breakthrough video asset management system for broadcast televisions and post production creative departments."
Proximity simply allows video artists to manage all their assets from a single work interface.
