As reported back in January 2006 Think Secret is reiterating that a delayed Final Cut Pro 6 will be released at NAB 2007 (14-19 April).
FCP 6 is said to have originally been on schedule for release at last year's NAB, but Think Secret states that the one-year delay has allowed the feature set to be expanded. Including making use of Leopard-dependent technologies.
As well as reporting on FCP 6 the site also mentioned the previously rumoured Final Cut Pro Extreme suite of software and hardware. The suite is said to call on a hardware card specifically designed for the Mac Pro, allowing support for 4K media if necessary.
Final Cut Pro Extreme is said to still be in the price range of $10,000.
