AppleInsider reports that a large-scale mobile phone operator in Sweden has apparently received assurances from Apple that the 2G version of the iPhone would arrive before September 2007 and that a 3G version could follow as soon as January 2008.
Steve Jobs mentioned the 3G iPhone in his January Macworld Keynote but did not pinpoint an exact time frame.
