Samsung and Apple are reportedly in talks regarding a volume purchase of NAND flash chips that will be used in iPods and iPhones from June to December 2007.
Sources have told Digitimes that Apple is asking for 400-500 million 4Gbit NAND flash chips from Samsung, the report also mentions that Samsung may not be able to meet demand.
The report finally mentions that Samsung is concerned that an oversupply for NAND chips may occur if sales of future iPods and the iPhone fail to meet predictions.
