Think Secret is reporting that an unconfirmed tip points towards the possibility of an iPod update as early as Tuesday 8th May.
The source says that Apple will show off a brand new touch-screen iPod but not ship the device until June when the iPhone begins shipping.
The site is keen to mention that the date clashes with those dates of much more reliable sources who have stated that a 6G iPod is not due until later in the year at the earliest.
