Following months and months of iMac rumours, Piper Jaffray has also stepped into the picture with their take. According to the investment research firm there is an 80% chance that Apple will release a completely redesigned iMac this Summer.
According to the firm the "iMac makeover" rumour is its "Hot Topic of the Month" citing that a lack of updates for over 300 days and many rumours point towards a likely release.
"Based on Apple's product roadmap and the fact that the iMac has not been updated in 309 days, we [...] continue to expect redesigned iMacs this summer," analyst Gene Munster wrote for Piper Jaffray in a research report.
Munster maintained an "Outperform" rating on Apple shares with a price target of $160.
