Reuters reports that Apple UK and O2 are planning a multimillion pound advertising campaign to begin later this month. The campaign of which the total budget was not divulged will begin 2 weeks prior to the November 9th iPhone launch and will consist of TV and poster advertising.
O2 UK CEO Matthew Key spoke to journalists on Tuesday and noted that the marketing effort would be the company's "most significant campaign" in the run-up to the key Christmas trading period.
Key also said that he believed 80 percent of O2 UK's high-value customers wanted an iPhone while 40 percent of high spenders on other networks were considering the switch.
