Following MacRumors's post introducing the possibility of a product by the name of MacBook Air, 9to5Mac has now posted an excellent breakdown of mulitple rumours over the months that all seem to point at the same product.
One particular commentor on 9to5Mac points at a Google cache record of a computer named "MacBookAir" documented in Adium's usage logs.
