Long time manufacturing partner of Apple products Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, is reported to have received the prestigious contract for the upcoming 3G iPhone.
Although the publication fails to cite sources, the Commercial Times reported Friday that the Taiwan based manufacturing giant which also operates under the name Foxconn is currently bidding for the contract.
But a subsequent report from the Dow Jones states that Foxconn has already closed the deal with Apple and will be the exclusive manufacturer of the second-generation iPhone.
