TUAW reports that an unnamed source has pointed out multiple strong entires in the latest beta of the iPhone 2.0 firmware update. The code refers to selecting from different media categories and mentions dialog boxes that let users choose a particular source.
The application that source code refers to is purportedly called "iControl" and allows an iPhone or iPod touch to connect wirelessly to local iTunes libraries and browse and play media from them.
