Following yesterdays announcement from Apple that iTunes Movie will go on sale the same day as the DVD release, the company has also quietly updated the Apple TV to allow purchasing of movies.
Previously owners of the Apple TV could only rent movies from the comfort of their couches but with this minor update movies can be bought direct from the device.
Apple has also added a "Top Sellers" category, showing the current most popular movie purchases.
