It has been revealed that the $2.99 going towards an HD episode from the iTunes store is buying more than originally thought.
Ars Technica is reporting that upon downloading an HD episode of a TV show, the SD version is also downloaded for use on an iPod. This relatively unknown fact was not mentioned during yesterday's keynote.
Upon purchasing an HD episode iTunes will download and sync the SD version to an iPod or iPhone.
