Today, Apple and Psystar agreed to extend the time in which Apple is due to respond to the Counterclaims filed on August 28, 2008 until September 30, 2008. Apple gave Psystar a similar extension to respond to the initial suit. While the case may be bitterly fought, it appears that the respective attorneys are behaving in a professional and courteous manner towards each other. Similar to the Stipulation for Extension that was given to Psystar, Apple has not committed to actually answer the Counterclaims but "to answer or otherwise respond," which could include Motions to Strike or Dismiss amongst others.
