The Register is reporting that sales of Apple notebooks in the US increased by more than 35 percent year-over-year giving Apple claim to more than 20 percent of the US retail market during the months of July and August.
The report which cites data from NPD goes onto note that in terms of retail dollar share Apple represents 35 percent of all moneys spent on notebook computers during those months.
The increased sales not place Apple in fourth position amongst all North American manufacturers.
