Apple has quietly issued a minor update for the Apple TV. According to several reports and World of Apple's own experiences it is unknown what has changed in 2.3.1.
Unlike previous updates Apple has yet to change the Apple TV software update page to reflect the changes.
Users of Boxee should be warned that the update is breaking most installations of the unofficial Apple TV hack.
