Following World of Apple's original report that a March 24 event would concentrate on desktop hardware Apple promptly revamped the entire desktop computer lineup. Now rumours suggest that the event is still on but will instead focus on software.
Sevenmac.de is reporting that an anonymous tip suggests that the March 24 will be used to new Apple pro video applications. The German rumour site goes onto write that a "buggy" version of Final Cut Studio is currently in internal beta which could cause the event to be delayed.
The site offers no further information on what other applications could be updated at the same time.
