The new iPod shuffle which was launched today lists iTunes 8.1 as a requirement on the the Apple website. Now Apple has revealed that iTunes 8.1 will come with a few new features.
The iTunes "What's New" page highlights some of those new features that will come in iTunes 8.1.
iTunes 8.1 will according to Apple be faster than the current version of iTunes as well as adding movies and TV shows to the Genius sidebar. Additionally CDs will now be able to be imported in iTunes Plus format.
