Yesterday Apple released iPhone OS 3.1 to the developer community for testing. As expected the update includes several enhancements to the iPhone OS.
iPhone OS 3.1 offers the following enhancements:
- Ability to use Voice Control on iPhone 3GS with a Bluetooth headset
- Video editing on iPhone 3GS is now non-destructive, offering the option to "save a copy"
- iPhone vibrates when moving home icons
- Fraud protection option has returned to Safari
- Noticeable improvement in iPhone 3GS battery life
- Startup and shutdown speed improvements
