Apple has become the latest in a series of companies to resign from the United States Chamber of Commerce over a disagreement on the Chamber's climate policy.
In a letter addressed to Thomas J. Donohue, president and chief executive of the chamber Catherine A. Novelli of Apple wrote, "We strongly object to the chamber's recent comments opposing the E.P.A.'s effort to limit greenhouse gases," adding "Apple supports regulating greenhouse gas emissions, and it is frustrating to find the chamber at odds with us in this effort".
The chamber recently threatened litigation if the Environmental Protection Agency continued to move forward with the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.
