In line with rumours Apple has sent out invitations to select members of the media inviting them to a special event to be held on January 27 at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.
The invite sent to members of the media today simply reads "Come see our latest creation" whilst depicting paint splatters around an Apple logo.
Sources suggest that Apple will announce its tablet computer which has been long-rumoured and is expected to feature a large 10-inch multi-touch display.
