Apple board director and former chief financial officer of IBM, Jerome York was hospitalised today in critical condition.
Jerry York, 71 reportedly collapsed at his home in Rochester, Michigan on Tuesday night and was taken to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital by ambulance. York's wife states that York has suffered a massive cerebral haemorrhage.
York graduated from West Point and went on to receive an MBA from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
York has been a member of Apple's board of directors since 1997.
