The iPad will go on sale this coming Saturday in the U.S. but an international launch date remains a mystery with Apple only stating a "late April" release.
Today iPad in Canada reports that Apple store employees in Canada have been told that there is a blackout period for the weekend of April 24 meaning no employees can take time off. The information would suggest that the iPad will arrive in Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland on April 24, a Saturday.
World of Apple has heard information to the contrary with a date of April 27 being anonymously supplied to us.
