Today marks the day that the iPad is available in nine additional countries outside of the U.S. at 8.00AM local time Apple stores in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK will open their doors to customers wishing to pick up the iPad.
Those that pre-ordered the iPad may already have received their order as many were delivered a day early.
According to Reuters 1,200 customers had lined up outside Japan's flagship Apple Store in Tokyo. Reports from London also suggest a three-hundred strong line outside of London's flagship store on Regent Street an hour before the store opening.
Australia's iPad launch was coincided with the opening of the Bondi Apple Store in Sydney, a large spacious store with a massive skylight and trees inside!
