China Unicom who began officially selling the iPhone 4 in China on Saturday has announced that it has sold 100,000 units in the first four days. China Unicom vice president Li Gang told reporters this week that the carrier had sold all of its first shipment. Another 100,000 units are on back-order bringing China Unicoms total sales to 200,000.
China Unicom is now asking consumers to come to retail stores to sign up for an iPhone 4 and has stopped online reservations.
China Unicom is China's second largest carrier in a market of over 800 million mobile phone subscribers.
