Following a short period of testing Apple has made iTunes 10.1 available for download. The release of iTunes 10.1 will allow iPhones, iPads and iPod touches to update to iOS 4.2 when it is made available.
iTunes 10.1 which is available for both Mac and Windows is accompanied with the following release notes:
- Use AirPlay to instantly and wirelessly stream videos from iTunes to the all-new Apple TV.
- Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.2.
- Provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.
