Apple and Edinburgh City Council have reportedly finalised the plans for its upcoming Edinburgh retail store that will be situated at 122-123 Princes Street.
The report which comes from The Edinburgh Journal says that the store which is already under construction had been causing issues over preservation and the prominence of Apple’s brand on the storefront.
Tom Buchanan, Edinburgh’s economic development leader, was “delighted” by the plans, saying: “Having brands like Apple in Edinburgh draws people to the city.”
The store which is estimated to be 13,000 square feet will be Scotland's third Apple retail store—after the Glasgow store opened in 2007 and the Aberdeen store two years later—and is expected to open in late 2011.
