Apple has today released a minor software update for the sixth generation iPod. The update which is available through iTunes upon syncing an iPod nano will bring the version of software on the iPod to 1.1.
The update mainly updates the functionality related to the Sleep/Wake button which can now:
- Completely turn off the iPod, rather than just put the device to sleep.
- Control music or radio playback using the Sleep/Wake button without having to look at the device.
