As widely expected Apple today announced the arrival of a Pro application which will act as a post production tool for photographers.
Apple describes Aperture as;
"Designed from the ground up for professional photographers, Aperture provides everything you need for after the shoot, delivering the first all-in-one post-production tool for photographers."
The application ships around November and will cost $499, it has a wide range of features including;
All this comes at a price as the application requires a Dual 2.0GHz or faster G5, which puts all you mobile photographers out of luck.
