Samsung wins media processor chip over PortalPlayer

Last week PortalPlayers stock dropped dramatically after it was revealed that Apple was looking elsewhere for the chip used in its iPod music player.

He added that Samsung also supplies the “majority” of NAND flash to Apple’s iPod.
