AppleInsider has exclusively revealed that top Apple execs are involved with the stock option grant irregularities and could be forced to return any funds gained.
The 23-page complaint was exclusively revealed to AppleInsider, the complaint which was filed last month in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint alleges that the company executives conspired to backdate stock options in order to maximise the return on their options.
The report has revealed that some high management individuals are involved with the allegations, including former CTO Avi Tevanian, current Vice President Ron Johnson, current COO Tim Cook, iPod chief Jon Rubenstien, as well as all the members on the current Board of Directors including Steve Jobs but excluding former Vice President, Al Gore Jr.
