Apple Details "Back to My Mac" Feature
Only available to .Mac subscribers, Back to My Mac allows users to access files or view the Desktop of their Mac at home from the Finder on a remote computer.
Back to My Mac puts any Leopard-based Mac you use within easy reach. .Mac finds your remote Mac computers over the Internet and displays them in the Leopard Finder on the Mac you’re using. So you can connect from anywhere with just a click.
Leopard System Requirements
Apple has released the system requirements for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
Here are the minimum specs your Mac will need to run Leopard, according to Apple:
- Intel, G5, or 867MHz+ G4 processor
- 512 megs of RAM
- DVD drive
- 9GB of free disk space
Apple Details Up-to-Date Program
Apple is offering an up-to-date program (UK) to customers who purchased a qualifying new Mac system from Apple or an Apple Authorised Reseller on or after October 1st, 2007.
These customers will receive an upgrade to Leopard for $9.95 (£5.95).
