Walmart has this week slashed the price of the iPhone 3GS from $197 to $97 when sold with a contract.
The move comes ahead of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference 2010 at which the company is expected to unveil a new iPhone dubbed iPhone HD and the current iPhone 3GS is expected to drop into a lower price point which is currently held by the iPhone 3G.
