
The past weekend saw the opening of an iconic Apple Retail Store in Paris, today saw the unveiling of an original store design and the massive London store takes a step towards opening.
This past weekend saw the opening of the Apple Store Opéra in Paris, France. The store is a monumental architectural feat in line with some of Apple's most extravagant store including the famous Carrousel de Louvre store also in Paris. This week also saw the unveiling of Apple's latest store in China. The Pudong Apple store in Shanghai is a underground store like the Fifth Avenue store in New York City but instead of a cube sitting above earth this store features a tall cylindrical glass tower featuring a floating Apple logo and spiral glass staircase. The Pudong Apple store opens this Saturday at 10am.

Recently a major move was made in London with the exterior of the Covent Garden Apple store being covered with the fake red curtain motif. ifoAppleStore sources suggest the store could open before the end of July.
