Samsung and Apple to Sign Contracts Worth $7.8 Billion

Earlier this week Dow Jones Newswires briefly noted that Apple is set to become Samsung's largest customer according to a report from the Korea Economic Daily which cites industry sources.

Apple and Samsung have reportedly signed contracts worth $7.8 billion that will see Samsung supplying LCDs, mobile processors and NAND flash memory for use in iPhones, iPads and although not listed presumably iPods too.

Apple and Samsung have worked together for many years now and Samsung was the NAND flash provider who reduced supplies to its other customers to satisfy Apple's demand in 2008.
