Yesterday it was rumoured that Apple would be hosting an event to unveil the next generation iPad on March 2. Today select members of the media have received invites to an event to be held next week in San Francisco.
The invitations encourage members of the media to attend an event on March 2 at 10:00 am Pacific time being held at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts.
It is rumoured that Apple will use the event on March 2 to unveil a brand new iPad but details of when the iPad 2 will ship are currently unknown.
The invite which can be seen below includes the tagline, “Come see what 2011 will be the year of.”
