
Apple is reportedly planning a "spectacular" update to its Final Cut Pro video editing application. The report which comes from TechCrunch says that the update will be "the biggest overhaul to Final Cut Pro since the original version was created over 10 years ago".
The update is reportedly said to include "low level architectural changes" and a "complete redesign of the user interface" and most likely a change to 64-bit, a welcome change for pro users.
Final Cut Pro was last updated to version 7 in July 2009 as part of a refresh of Final Cut Studio which also includes Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Color and Compressor.
According to people have previewed the upcoming update to Final Cut Pro it is described as "dramatic and ambitious" with a pro-orientated focus.
