It has been reported in The Sunday Times that Apple's lead designer commonly associated with the design of the original iMac, iPod and iPhone is looking to move back to the UK and leave Apple.
Jonathan Ive who is officially Apple's Senior Vice President of Industrial Design was awarded a "golden handcuffs" grant [PDF] back in 2008, with Apple's current stock price the amount has grown to over $30 million.
The Sunday Times reports that Ive and his wife Heather are looking to move back to his Somerset house in the UK and this has caused him to be "at loggerheads" with the Apple board as Ive would be unable to keep his position within the company.
