It has been revealed today that Allison Johnson, Apple's vice president of worldwide marketing communications since 2005 is to leave the company. The news revealed by several sources to AllThingsD is somewhat notable and surprising.
According to those familiar with the matter Johnson is leaving Apple to co-found a new marketing and communications firm with Former Facebook PR exec Brandee Barker.
Apple refused to comment on the departure and there is no word on who will replace Johnson.
