Exclusive: Apple Store Regent Street Renovations [Update]

Sign at the Regent Street store in London

As reported back in February the Regent Street Store in London appears to be mid-way through its renovations, a recent visit to the store showed the glass bridge to be inaccessible and the roof has been replaced and lowered significantly, due to the renovations some areas of the store are very dark and space has become even more limited.

[Update] A source of unknown reliability has cited to World of Apple that the Regent Street store is having a third floor adding to its retail space, although we cannot confirm this it is quite possible due to the mass of visitors always in the store and Apple owns the floor above and space behind the store.

No member of staff operating in the store was able to offer any information on why the renovations were taking place.
